awesome band. i recently gotten two of their albums, The Wretched Spawn and Butchered at Birth.

i cant describe the differences between Barnes and Fisher. Barnes sound just plain sinister and wicked while "corpsegrinder" is actually undertandable while still posessing the death metal vocals. while both vocals are good, I like George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher better because one can understand more or less what he's saying. Songs are as brutal on Wretched Spawn as on Butchered at Birth, if not more brutal.

there is something in the lyrics that makes me want to laugh. Brutal, disturbing and downright disgusting as it may be, it just makes me laugh listening/reading them.

however, Cannibal Corpse is one awesome band to listen to and just plain rules.

Chris Barnes was more interesting to listen to, and his lyrics were a lot more creative with that certain intriguing foulness.

My favorite album with Chris is Tomb of the Mutilated, and my favorite with George is Bloodthirst. The albums with Chris are overall slightly better IMO

I liked Cannibal better when Barnes was there, but Fisher has a cool voice. It's very "vile" sounding, whereas Barnes is just fuckin' brutal.

I heard Tomb of mulitated, Bloodthirst and Kil albums. All were good. I heard also I will kill you and hatchet to the head songs, but this wasnt so good as Tomb and Kill albums. I dont know if it is worth to hear another. I prefer Sinister and Deicide.

If you like Deicide Listen to Vital Remains-Dechristianize .w Glen Benton on vocals I allways liked Deicide and i just love this Vital Remains cd it sounds exactly as i want Deicide to sound
