Motorhead did a 11 song set in St. Louis last night, hopefully things are on the up and up.

This really sounds like my observation of the Ramones in 1995.

Review of Motorhead's Chicago gig....
http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertain ... story.html

9:15 p.m.: Oh, Lemmy. Amid the reports of canceled shows and illnesses that might or might not be present, a king of the rock jungle was making his devoted legions sad. Lemmy. You're a lion, an indomitable rock 'n' roll force. That guy onstage, slurring words and forcing the ultimate fast 'n loud machine to back off the throttle just a bit is a bummer to see. The volume kept rising, in an effort to drown out the grim reality, that Lemmy no longer rules. It's a weird thing. He stood rooted to one spot, but in the past it seemed to be because he was rooted to the planet. Today it just seemed feeble. Motorhead will always rock harder than anyone else. That is a given. It's the diminished capability of a once-mighty force that puts things into context. The drums pounded, the guitar solos rang true, but none of it was the same. Rock 'n' roll isn't supposed to make you sad, but after the countless times I have seen Motorhead, seen Lemmy well and truly rule, this set was a little tough to take.

they need to stop playing..the last couple of times I saw them they were all in pain..most of those 65, 70 years old
musicians dont realize how horrible they become and affect their own legacy..just go and retire and enjoy your millions of dollars
its over...metal and rock is over and just like bach, beethoven and mozart will be never back
the only guy who amazed me lately at 60 was King Diamond who still can sing and perform fantastically
