Check out Znowhite's first full length release : Act of God. It's got a lame album cover, and their name is lame, but the musis is very solid thrash metal!

Dark Angel IS THE SHIT! Fastest most aggressive thrash! Our band was thinking of doing a cover of Merciless Death or The Burning of Sodom, but the vocals are too fast for the riffage fuuuucckckkkkkk!!!!

Slayer is the speed-metal band that's never slowed down. Metallica? They enlisted a touchy-feely therapist to help the band finish its St. Anger album. Very unmetal. The once-mighty Anthrax is pretty much an afterthought.Image

Two local bands from Wellington, New Zealand - Razorwyre who are a thrash/speed power metal band in the vein of Overkill/Judas Priest/Iron Maiden. Currently have a free demo available to download and are currently recording demo tracks for their first album. The other band is Beastwars, a stoner/sludge/doom band inthe vein of High On Fire, Bison BC, Sabbath. They recently supported High On Fire and the Melvins when they toured and will be supporting Helmet when they tour later this year. They've just released their first full length album.
