SLAYER Play ZEPPELIN & ZZ TOP Covers During Sound Check

Postby Slayer213 on Thu Aug 17, 2017 4:15 pm

Slayer played Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada on August 14, and Raleigh, North Carolina on July 20, and both featured very non-Slayer soundcheck songs. The band played Led Zeppelin's "Rock And Roll" and ZZ Top's "Tush," and did a great job with both! Though is it really shocking that a band who's been around so long did a good job with some covers?

I saw 'Rock and Roll' & liked it but didn't see 'Tush' though I'm sure I would have liked it too

Tush is one of the very first songs they sung.

I've see a few of these "sound check" vids and it seems Kerry is distant from the rest of the band...sup with that

I dont know, i was a little bummed he wouldnt get out in front and show off.
He seemed to be pre-occupied with something going on with his setup. realy its whatever.
Tom & Gary made sure we all got guitar picks which was cool. Tom was really into with that mexican blackbird song.
